Dogs must be on leashes when entering or exiting the park, but they’re free to roam without a leash as long as the dog handler maintains control and supervision. Furthermore, the park offers several multipurpose trails, playgrounds, restrooms, and picnic shelters.

2. Picnic Island Beach Dog Park
At the southern end of Tampa, Picnic Island Beach Dog Park is a haven for dogs and humans. The park is a white sand beach where dogs are free to run around on. There is also a gated dog beach on the property.
Picnic Island Beach Dog Park also features disc golf on the beach, shelters, picnic tables, a playground, sand volleyball court, restrooms, a boat ramp, and more. Dog owners must clean up after their dogs and place them on leashes when entering and exiting.

3. Lake Baldwin Dog Park
Situated next to Lake Baldwin in Orlando, Lake Baldwin Dog Park is a large park that sits on 23 acres. The entire park is dog-friendly, meaning dogs are free to roam off-leash. The park has a sandy beach and plenty of shade.
Lake Baldwin Dog Park also provides plenty of benches, a boat ramp, picnic tables, restrooms, and pavilions. Dogs must be brought in on leashes and walked out on leashes. Owners must also pick up after their dogs.
Lake Baldwin Dog Park is open for visitors between 8am to sunset every day with the exception of closings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday until 12pm.

4. Ed Austin Regional Dog Park
Located in Jacksonville, Ed Austin Regional Dog Park is a 144-acre site that is full of amenities for residents and dogs. The site is large enough for dogs to run around and play or find some shade under trees to relax. The park provides water spigots to fill water bowls and plenty of pet bags for clean up purposes.
Ed Austin Regional Dog Park offers residents disc golf, tennis courts, soccer fields, a skatepark, and a walking track. There are benches, picnic tables, shelters, restrooms, and a community center all here as well. Dogs must be kept under supervision and put on leashes when coming in and out of the park.

Bark Park is a dog haven for all types of dogs living in Miami. The area holds two different places for large and small dogs. In the park, there are water fountains for dogs and humans, small obstacles, benches, a pavilion, restrooms, and more.
Dog owners must keep their dogs on a leash when coming in and out of the park. Dog owners are also required to clean up after their dogs. Each handler is only allowed three dogs.
