1. Fort Harrison State Dog Park
Located in Indianapolis’ Fort Harris State Park, the Fort Harris State Dog Park is located in a gated area away from the main parking lot. The park has three separate fenced-in areas for dogs. Between the three areas, there are roughly 10 acres of play area between a pond, woods, and grassy areas.
Dog owners must have a valid year’s Dog Park pass to enter. It costs $75 per year. Dogs must be licenses, vaccinated, and over 4 months to enter the dog park.

Founded in 1964, Woodland Park has been a long-standing haven for Gary and its surrounding residents. The park is a 64-acre park that holds the Woodland Dog Park, a fenced-in area for dogs to play freely. The park has benches, trails, restrooms, and more.
Woodland Dog Park requires dogs to be registered with up to date tags. Dog owners must have doggy clean up supplies at the ready. Dogs must be on leashes when they enter and exit the fenced-in area.

3. Rum Village Dog Park
Located inside South Bend’s 160-acre Rum Village Park, the Rum Village Dog Park is a fenced-in area perfect for dogs to run around. There are two separate areas for large and small dogs with plenty of space in each. Outside the fenced-in area, there are hiking trails, paths, restrooms, pavilions, and more.
To enter Rum Village Dog Park, dogs must be over 4 months old, up to date with vaccines, and well-behaved. Dog owners must keep a leash with them for entering and exiting the fenced-in area.

At the northern end of Fort Wayne, dog owners have Camp Canine open for play. The park is located in Johnny Appleseed Park. It’s a fenced-in area where dogs are free to play off-leash. The park is a large grassy area with picnic tables, water, waste bags, and a pavilion.
Camp Canine is a membership-based dog park run by the city of Fort Wayne. Dog owners must register their dogs and obtain a yearly pass for $40. Furthermore, dogs must be over 4 months old and exhibit good behavior.
