1. Whiteman Park Dog Park
Whiteman Park Dog Park in Perth covers a space of around 2.5 hectares, giving your pup plenty of room for off-leash exploring and socializing. The dog park has its own separate parking lot within Whiteman Park and is entirely fenced (with a secure double entry gate) for your dog’s safety and security. The park is open daily from 8:30 am until 6:00 pm.
Whiteman Park Dog Park has something for every dog to enjoy. For small dogs (under 10kg), there’s a separate enclosure if the big dogs in the park get a bit overwhelming. For especially active dogs, there’s agility equipment for playing and training on. The park also features walking paths and benches for owners and lots of areas to fill up water bowls for thirsty dogs. Please clean up after your dog and ensure your dog is leashed in all other areas of Whiteman Park.
2. Rockingham Enclosed Dog Park
Rockingham Enclosed Dog Park is located south of Perth and features two completely enclosed off-leash areas – one for large dogs and one for smaller dogs. The dog park is situated inside Bayview Reserve and has activity areas, bench seating for owners, and drinking fountains for thirsty dogs.
There are lots of grassy surfaces where dogs can sniff and roll, trees for shade, and large rocks for climbing. Rubbish bins are located outside the park – please clean up after your dog and dispose waste bags in these.
3. Edgar Griffiths Dog Park
Located in the northern Perth suburb of Wanneroo, Edgar Griffiths Dog Park is a great place for dogs to socialize, play, and burn off some energy. The park has two separate enclosures – one that is specifically designed for small dogs, and one where all dogs are welcome. There are lots of walking paths inside the dog park, as well as park benches and picnic areas.
For active dogs, the park features obstacle courses and agility equipment, as well as drinking fountains and water bowls. There’s even a sandy area that’s specifically set aside for hole digging – your pup will love it! The secure, double-entry gate and abundance of trees make this a great off-leash dog park.
4. Baldivis Enclosed Dog Park
Situated inside Barri Barri Park (at the south portion of the park) is the Baldivis Enclosed Dog Park. Dedicated parking is available for the dog park, and once inside the off-leash area you will see two separately enclosed sections. One of these is for small dogs only, and one is available for all dogs to use.
Combined, both enclosures of the dog park cover an area of around 3000 sq. metres. There’s a double-gated entry for added security, plus plenty of shade and benches where owners can watch their dogs from. There is also a large sandy area where your dog can dig their heart out. The park also features large trees, drinking water, agility equipment, and waste bins where you can dispose of your dog’s waste.
5. Elcar Park
Elcar Park is located in Joondalup, north of Perth. Your dog is free to enjoy some off-leash time inside the park, as long as they are supervised attentively and under voice command at all times. The dog park is fully enclosed with secure fencing and contains a large grassy area where your dog can run all day. There are also trees for shade and benches where owners can supervise their dogs from.
Please note that the park is closed for maintenance on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm. Whenever your dog is outside the designated off-leash area, they need to be on a leash at all times. Please clean up after your dog, both inside and outside the off-leash area of the park.
6. Dianella Dog Park
Dianella Dog Park is a fully enclosed, off-leash dog park in the northern Perth suburb of Dianella. The park features two separately fenced areas – one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. There is a secure double-gated entry, lots of grassy space, and even some sandy areas for digging. Parking for the dog park is easily accessible, and inside the park three are benches where owners can sit to supervise their dogs.
To visit Dianella Dog Park, your dog must be microchipped and registered. While off-leash, please ensure your dog is under voice command at all times and remove them from the park if they are showing signs of aggression. Make sure you supervise your dog at all times and clean up their waste.
7. Calleya Dog Park
Calleya Dog Park is located south of Perth in the suburb of Banjup. The dog park is fully enclosed and has two separate areas – one for large dogs and one specifically for smaller dogs. The perimeter of the park features secure fencing and a double- entry for added safety and security. Drinking water for dogs and benches for owners are also provided.
Please clean up after your dog using the waste bags and rubbish bins provided. While all dogs are welcome at the park, remove your dog if they exhibit any signs of aggression towards other dogs or people. Carry a leash at all times, and ensure your dog is leashed whenever they are not inside the dog park.
8. Jack Marks Reserve
Jack Marks Reserve is located in Highgate, in Perth’s inner north. The reserve contains an off-leash dog area, which is fully enclosed and has drinking water (for both dogs and their owners) and park benches where owners can watch their dogs from.
Jack Marks Reserve has a designated parking lot and is open daily from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm. Please clean up after your dog, and ensure they are on a leash whenever outside the off-leash area.
