Located in San Francisco, Pet Camp offers overnight boarding for aggressive dogs. Their K9 Enrichment program is for dogs that prefer not to/do not play well with other dogs. This program helps introduce your pet to various people, dogs, or objects that cause a reaction.
The facility features 23,000 square feet of indoor and grassy outdoor space. Pet Camp is 100% family owned and operated, and its first campground opened in 1997.
In 2005, they became the first certified green pet care facility in the country. Owners Mark and Virginia met while working at the US Environmental Protection Agency and are committed to being an environmentally responsible business.

2. The Pawington
Located in South San Francisco near the SFO airport, The Pawington offers an all inclusive Daystay boarding service for aggressive dogs. This one on one program offers a comfortable suite for them to rest in between walks and play sessions with a dedicated team member.

3. A Pet Villa
Located in San Jose, A Pet Villa offers kennel boarding for dogs that show aggression toward people. If your dog is not reactive around other dogs, they will be able to play in small social groups; otherwise, they offer one on one playtime.
Original owner Malka Nagel has over 45 years of experience caring for dogs and opened A Pet Villa in 2007. When she retired, she sold to Garry and Sophia, whose family has a history of providing veterinary care.

4. Koru K9
If you’re looking to have your dog trained while you’re away, Koru K9 offers a board and train program for aggressive dogs in San Francisco. Koru K9 was the winner of Bay Woof Beast of the Bay from 2014-2019 and was named the Best Animal Behaviorist SF Bay Area on A-List Top 5 Pet Trainers (2015).
Impressively, co-owner Ray Murphy is a Police K9 Instructor & Decoy, AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, earned the Tarheel Canine Pro Trainer Certification, and is a Training Director Senior Trainor & Dog Behaviorist. He has a passion for rehabilitating aggressive dogs, and his background in the military gave him a unique advantage in dog training.
Co-owner Bridget Murphy is a Dog Behaviorist and Nutritionist and found her passion for rehabilitating dogs through her rescue dog. Together, they co-own Koru K9, The Balanced School for Dog Trainers, and High Risk Deployment Police K9.

5. Shamrock Ranch Kennels
Shamrock Ranch Kennels is located in San Francisco, California, and is a family owned and operated business that has been open since 1939. The facility offers 200 acres of open space and welcomes dogs of all temperaments.
Owner Dana was raised at Shamrock Ranch and has handled operations there since 1979. Mike, the Kennel Manager, has worked at the ranch since 2006 and is responsible for ensuring your dog is as happy as possible.
Lisa, their Training Director, has worked at the ranch since 1992 and leads training programs at the kennels. She has experience training dogs, horses, and exotic animals.

Dan Perata is located in San Francisco and offers boarding services for aggressive dogs enrolled in their training programs. Their Dan Camp program will help dogs who are aggressive, reactive, or have separation anxiety.
Dan Perata has spent 35 years honing his training methods and his passion developed while working with his grandfather’s hunting dogs. He trained under Gunther Gebel, a legendary trainer of exotic animals.

7. Refined K9
Refined K9 has locations in San Francisco and San Jose and offers a safe place for dogs of all temperaments. They offer boarding for aggressive dogs or a board and train program to rehabilitate dogs with all levels of aggression.
Founder and trainer Theophainia Brassard grew up on a horse farm and learned to train alongside her mother, who was a trainer dedicated to rehabilitating animals. Theo studied animal sciences at SMFA and Tufts until she took an internship with a trainer who introduced her to handling aggressive dogs. She was trained by the Animal Behavior College and through the MSPCA.
